WORLD MILK PRODUCTION TOP 10 COUNTRY (FAO)

  • It produces 81 percent of the world's milk production of cattle, buffalo with 15 percent, goats with 2 percent and sheep with 1 percent; provides 0.5 percent of camels. The remaining share is produced by other types of milk, such as horses and yaks.
  • Approximately a third of milk production in developing countries is from buffalo, goats, camels and sheep is coming. In developed countries, almost all milk is produced by cattle.
